AMD launches the AMD Ryzen Threadripper: Monster chip
Battle between AMD and Intel still continue
We all know
that Intel has just launched their Intel i9 series processors and we all know
that Intel is always a leading brand in the world of processors. But now the
launch of AMD Ryzen threadripper will be providing a though completion to the
Intel i9 processor.
The CEO of the AMD Lisa Su has announced the launch of the AMD Ryzen threadripper, a very high end CPU on August 10, 2017. Earlier only the Intel use to manufacture the monster chips but now AMD has also launched their monster chips under the chipset X399.
The monster chips of AMD Ryzen threadripper is aiming for the content creators, true gamers.
The AMD Ryzen threadripper is well equipped
with the Zen Architecture 64 bit (x64)
technology. As the AMD is very famous processor manufacturing company which is
totally dedicated to gamers. The gamers are been provided a very high end gaming
graphics by their new GPU (Graphical
Processing Unit) with the processor.
In 1950X Monster chip there are 16 cores and 32 threads with the clock speed of 3.4 GHz which can be
extended ahead to almost 4.0 GHz Turbo
frequency. The price of the 1950X monster chip is around $999.
Whereas in 1920X Monster chip there are only 12 cores and 24 threads with the clock
speed of 3.4 GHz and the Turbo frequency of the 4.0 GHz. The price of the 1920X monster
chip is less that of 1950X that is $799.
The AMD has
also introduced their new chipset X399
for the monster chips. This X399 chipset comes with TR4 socket which is not compatible for the old processors. Only it
has the support to the latest processor. It supports Quad Channel DDR4 memory. It has support up to 1 TB (terabyte) of RAM when 128
GB (Gigabyte) LR-DIMMs is used.
That is tremendous nobody will be using such a great amount of RAM in around
next 20 to 30 years. All the monster chips of the AMD Ryzen threadripper series
have the capability of the Overclocking.
AMD always
has the issue with the overheating of the AMD processors. But now the AMD has
solved the problem of the overheating of the AMD processers by introducing the TDP technology in the monster chips of
Ryzen threadripper. The TDP is of 180 Watt. As we all know that the Alienware has a very great name in the gaming Laptops and PCs. The Alienware has a huge grab on the AMD
Ryzen threadripper processor.
Now when it comes to the comparison of the AMD Ryzen threadripper processor with the Intel i9 processor. The price of the AMD Ryzen threadripper processor is the same as that of the Intel i9 processor. The core and the threads provided by the AMD monster chip is lot more than the latest Intel i9 processor, the Intel i9 processor only provide 10 cores and 20 threads but the AMD monster chips provide 16 cores and 32 threads. Another important thing is that all the processors of the Intel i9 series are not overclockable processors, but all AMD Ryzen monster chip processors are overclockable.
Now it totally depends on you whether you have choose the Intel processor or the AMD processor. As both have their own benefits and limitations. Now you have to decide which processor satisfies your needs and choose the same.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
