Nokia 8 will be getting the Android Oreo updates soon

HMD GLOBAL has released their Nokia 8 phone on 16 August 2017 with the Android 7.1.1 Nougat and other features. But recently Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer of the HMD Global has announced the possibility of the launch of Android 8.0 Oreo during the local launch event of the Nokia 8 in Taiwan.

HMD GLOBAL depicted the possibility that the Updates of the Android Oreo will be available up to the end of October for Nokia 8. They also are depicting the possibility that the updates of the latest Android Oreo will also be available to Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6 up to the end of 2017.

The Nokia 8 is fully fleshed with all the latest features. It includes the following features:

• It has 5.3 inch Quad HD display
• 4 GB RAM and 64 GB expandable memory
• Powered by the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled with Adreno 540 GPU.
• Dual rear camera setup with Carl Zeiss optics. 12 MP each with one RGB colour sensor.
• Also has 13 MP front camera with dual shot mode.
• OS is Android 7.1.1 Nougat
• Long life battery of 3080mAh (non removable battery).
• Available in tempered blue, polished blue, silver and polished colour variants.
• USB-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack
