Whatsapp heading towards Monetization: A big business Plan

Yes it’s true that now on Whatsapp also there will be ads. Facebook, the owner of  Whatsapp has made their plans clear about the monetization facility on the largest social networking app have more than 1 billion active daily users. They are testing their new plan by making the direct interaction between the customers and the entrepreneurs.

Firstly the developers are looking for providing the free Whatsapp business app to the small business companies and a premium version to the all big companies like airlines, e commerce sites etc. due to these facilities provided by the Whatsapp there will be ads popping on the Whatsapp for the promotion of the products and that really will be a very bad thing means the ads coming in between the app is just a very frustrated thing.

And if we look the other end of it, it is also helpful for the customers as it will provide them with the notifications regarding the flight times, delivery confirmation and other important notifications.

For this testing purpose the Whatsapp has started verifying the accounts of the peoples who wants to monetize on the Whatsapp. That means that there will be a verified tick before the profile of the verified users. This announcent is made by the COO of the Whatsapp Matt Idema on their official blog. The launch date of the Whatsapp business tool is not announced officially as the tool is still under the testing condition. The date will be announced soon.

Now you might be confused that why the Whatsapp is introducing the monetization the reason is very simple the Facebook owned Whatsapp is not satisfied with the revenue that is been earn from the Whatsapp so they are introducing this feature to increase the revenue.

Whatsapp business tools will as always fully secured with the end to end encryption. This means there is chance for the third party to read the messages in between (also called as data breach) hence the privacy of the user is preserved which is always a good thing.

Whatsapp till now has not taken any decision about the payment facilities and I am sure that Whatsapp will take suitable decision on payment facilities as per the user convenience as early as possible.
